November 26, 1978 Joe White 6 Lawrence Ave. Stanhope, N.J. 07874 I have been enjoying your newsletter and am looking forward to the next issue. My son, Greg and I, both have Ballys with the BASIC cartridge, but have not yet received the cassette set up for saving programs. We sure could use the cassette recording set up, as some of our programs are long. We have been adopting many of the popular games for other systems to run with the Bally BASIC. Our main problem has been that we don't have enough memory to run some of them. If we only had 4 to 8K more RAM. Incidentally, in one of your letters, you mentioned we would be getting the Bally PA-1 Service Manual as a courtesy from Bally. As yet, we haven't received it. I sure would like to obtain a schematic of the Bally. I'm enclosing a copy of Bally Trek (rough copy) written in Bally BASIC by my son, Greg. It was adopted from a version written in MINOL - Tiny BASIC by Erik Mueller. Since Bally BASIC is more powerful, Greg added more features. Greg is rewriting the program for smoother operation and to be suitable for publication. You might try out the program and let us know if you would like the refined version for publishing it in the newsletter. Hope to hear from you. Joe White
